Wisteria is blooming in Japan, so come with me to Yanagawa to see one of the best viewing spots in Fukuoka! After hopping on a train I’ll be making my way by bike to Nakayama Ofuji.

See what it’s like to walk through the terraces of purple, and then taste Yanagawa’s specialty dish: Seiro Mushi! Sauced rice is steamed in a wooden box called a “seiro”. Then fillets of charcoal-broiled eel are placed on top along with finely sliced scrambled egg. Altogether, the food is steamed once more. It’s served piping hot and super delicious!
