Go further south and you will find yourself in Kagoshima, a city right next to an active volcano of Sakurajima. Very famous place both historically and naturally. Want to have a sand hot bath? You should go to Kagoshima. Nagasaki, a true gem of Kyushu. It used to be the only point of contacts with foreigners during Japanese self-isolation. There you can find a lot of history connected to China, Holland, Russia, Britain and USA.
