Uzbekistan became a hot topic in Sailor Moon at the Tokyo Olympics rhythmic gymnastics. I was fascinated by the blue mosque I saw in the photo book and traveled to Uzbekistan in 2018.
Swayed by the sleeper train to Samarkand, Visited popular tourist destinations such as Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and Shah-i-Zinda Mausoleums, and enjoy Uzbek cuisine such as Manti, Kebab, Shashlik, and Laghman.
I managed to recover from a cold and went down, and took the Afrashab to the next city, Bukhara. My hotel overbooked in Bukhara and had a suspicious future due to overbooking and bad weather.
The taxi to Khiva broke down and got stuck. At the end, I had a wonderful encounter.

Uzbekistan Airways operated two direct flights a week from Narita to Tashkent, but it seems that it is currently suspended. As for via flights, it seems that there are Korean Air via Incheon, South Korea, Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, Turkey, and Emirates Airlines via UAE / Dubai.
