Disney Very Merriest After Hours at Magic Kingdom! Join us for a night full of Christmas merriment as we attend the Very Merriest event!

We want to mention that this vlog is a combination of two parties as we were rained out the first time we attended in November. We were fortunate enough to rebook for this month so we could experience the event-exclusive entertainment. After check-in, we had two hours to spend before the After Hours officially began. We rode many rides with little to no wait time and even saw some of Enchantment while riding Dumbo!

There are specialty food items for purchase that are party exclusive. We were able to try the Gingerbread Almond Cake Pop and To Be Jolly Float at Golden Oak Outpost. Both were delicious and well-themed for the holidays. At Sleepy Hollow we tried the apple float and the Ginger Apple Funnel Cake. The float was the winner hands down, while the funnel cake was nothing special apart from the tasty apple pie filling it was topped with. At Auntie Gravities we tried the Christmas Cookie shake. This shake is not an event exclusive but it is so delicious! We headed for the inflatable candy canes for our first Snickerdoodle Cookies and Hot Cocoa stop. There are several different locations spread throughout the park- we visited Cosmic Ray’s and Pecos Bill. Popcorn and ice cream treats, as well as bottled water and soda, are included and there are multiple carts set up throughout the lands and in the hub for pick up.

We made our way to the Castle for the first stage show, Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories. This is a fun and festive show with singing and dancing and all of our favorite Disney friends. The snow at the end was magical! We recommend making time for this during the evening.

We were able to reserve space in one of the gardens at the hub for the fireworks (an offering for DVC members). Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show is arguably the best fireworks show on Disney property. The Castle projections are amazing, there were dozens upon dozens of fireworks and, maybe best of all, Tink flew! We could watch this show again and again.

Next, we headed to Main Street in preparation for the parade where we discovered it was snowing!! We tried to do justice to this with the vlog as it is truly magical in person. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is another event-exclusive offering that can’t be missed. The floats are decorated for the season and there are characters galore. We loved all the Disney touches with the snow and the scents of cookies and candy all around. Mickey and Minnie and the gang are all present as well as many of the princesses. There are toy soldiers and reindeer and of course, Santa Claus!

Like most After Hours events, there are so many things to see and do and not enough time! We did see Tweedledum and Tweedledee as well as Santa Stitch who partied all night at Club Tinsel. We also made our way to Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor for the holiday-themed show. Tim was picked by Roz to buy everyone hot cocoa so we had a good laugh about that!

It was a lovely night weather-wise and we were so thankful to have a chance to have a party “do-over” of sorts. We had a fantastic time enjoying the show, the parade, and the fireworks. We are hopeful for the return of the Very Merry Christmas Party but thought that Very Merriest was very fun and certainly made our list of top Christmassy Adventures in Central Florida.

We certainly hope you enjoyed the vlog as we enjoyed sharing the event with you! Onward to our next adventure!
