Went to the Ramen Museum in Yokohama, Japan. It’s about an hour by train from central Tokyo. It’s like the ramen-themed version of “It’s a Small World”! The creator wanted to recreate the look and feel of Japan during post-WWII, when ramen was a necessity (due to its low cost) rather than a comfort food or foodie photo-op. It’s slightly somber but it’s amazing what was created in a small space.
Lots of different ramen to taste, and they also serve smaller portions so you can at multiple places. The tsukemen (dipping ramen) was particularly good.
It’s an easy day trip from Tokyo – I recommend checking it out, especially if you like ramen!
