Japan’s transport system is very extensive! Despite the country’s mountainous terrain, Japanese have interconnected transport system. It is very convenient. This Cable car in Koyasan was opened in 1930, that’s 91 years ago, where most of the countries in Asia then or even Americas still struggle for transportation.
It is said that there’s at least 170, cable cars, gondolas, ropeways, or aerial tramways throughout Japan, in my 2 years on living in Japan, I have only been to 2.
This area is totally different comes winter as, this area, KOYASAN, receives few inches of snow every winter, it is very scenic fro as long as the cable car is not cancelled other wise, you will be stack in the area.
