In 2018 I went to Singapore for a short, weekend trip. The flight was delayed by more than 6 hours, and Cebu Pacific was quick to provide me with a free international flight to any city in its network. I decided to go to Tokyo and spent a very quiet New Year’s Eve there. I basically welcomed 2019 in my hostel. I just spent my days walking around, exploring pre-pandemic Tokyo, Nikko, Kawaguchiko, Yokohama, and Kamakura. Here’s the long overdue video that I collected during that nearly weeklong trip. Enjoy!
