This zoo is located in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. It has a Japan ecological garden where there are characteristically Japanese animals such as Asiatic black bears, Japanese macaques and spotted deer, and also an Africa garden with lions and elephants. In addition, there is an animal ride corner where you can get on the backs of camels and ponies, and come into direct contact with animals. It is closed in the winter from December until mid-March.
