Last city on the trip, Fukuoka, Japan! We found some great street food along the river and they had a festival going on every night we were there. Great live music! Not sure if this is a normal thing or just because of the Rugby World Cup going on in Japan. Night clubs and more!!
We took a day trip to Dazaifu, Japan with a local who showed us around this beautiful small town. Our day started off by visiting the temples and shrines in Dazaifu, tea in a beautiful garden, huge museum in the mountains, sushi for lunch, onsen (hot springs), and then enjoyed some hot apple milk at the train station on our way back to Fukuoka. Highly recommend checking out Dazaifu! Our relaxing day in Dazaifu turned into an all night rage until 5am. On our way back to Tokyo our train got stopped for a bit due to the Typhoon that hit while we were there. Between that and the increased number of people there for Rugby World Cup the train stations where pretty crazy on last train ride back.
