In this vlog, I’m walking through Old Dubai/ Deira’s Textile Souq and Gold Souq for the first time and I am amazed!! HOWEVER, I do have goals and an agenda. A MUST WATCH BEFORE SHOPPING HERE!!
*Note…many of these stores are working together to share the customer. When someone randomly asks you about silver on the street, he’s connected to a jewelry store nearby. This same person may have also watched you shop or browse at one store and wants to see if you’re still shopping. Don’t worry…just be aware!!
This area is not for everyone, in the last vlog coming up I met a couple that truly didn’t enjoy the catcalling and constant hustle but for people like me (I lived in NYC for 4 years…) you get a rush!! LOL!! Also, please note that I use this voice and accent because I’m aware of my surroundings. This comes natural to me when I am around people that speak English as a 2nd or 3rd language…It may be annoying phaha but everything is understood. 😉
