Can you guess them? These things gave us culture shock when we came to Japan! Other than the language we weren’t expecting too much culture shock when we moved to Japan. But boy were we wrong! The things we talk about today all caught us off guard and are some of the more amusing aspects of culture shock in Japan! From the extreme weather to the traditional hot spring etiquette, there have been plenty of times when we’ve experienced culture shock here. So if you’re planning to move to Japan or even to visit knowing these things will stop some awkward cultural faux pas.
