I lived in Okinawa for about 2.5 years, and I absolutely loved it there. This video is a longer one, but I wanted to capture some of my favorite memories on the island. I lived in Nishihara, and then Yaka. I lived right next to Yaka beach, but just down the road about 10 minutes was Onna, with an even better beach. I visited a ton of places, including Nago, Nakijin, Kouri Island, Itoman, Chatan, and more. The only negatives were increased allergies, too much chlorine in the tap water, and military bases.
I moved because I need more work so I can save for my sailboat tour (and pay bills). Sayonara, Okinawa, I will miss you.
