Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high in Kyoto’s atmospheric Higashiyama district, you’ll come across the elegant Yasaka Pagoda. 🌈 Dating way back to the 6th century, the pagoda is formally known as Hokan-ji Temple. It certainly makes for a great photographic backdrop as you climb the hill towards Kiyomizudera Temple.
📍 Yasaka Pagoda and Kiyomizudera Temple are easily accessed by foot from city buses that frequently service the Higashiyama area.
