Nanawatari Shrine
Nanawatari Shrine, which is said to have been enshrined before the construction of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, is a shrine dedicated to Benten, the god of beauty, entertainment and fortune. The shrine is located on an island in the middle of Benten Pond, and is affectionately called “Jishu Benten” by the local people.
The shrine was not damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake or the Tokyo Air Raid, and it is said to have saved the lives of people who took refuge in Benten Pond. The area around Benten Pond is also inhabited by a white snake, a messenger of the goddess Benten, who bestows happiness on those who visit the shrine.

七渡神社
富岡八幡宮創建前からお祀りされていたといわれる七渡神社は、美と芸能、財運の神である弁天様を祀るお社。弁天池中の島に鎮座し、地元の人々より「地主弁天」と呼ばれ親しまれています。
当社は関東大震災や東京大空襲による損傷を受けることもなく、むしろ弁天池に避難した人々の命を救ったという霊験が伝えられほど。またこの弁天池周辺には弁天様のお使いである白蛇が棲まわれ、お参りする方に幸福を授けます。
