In this video I’ll show you Nerima (練馬), Tokyo.
Nerima (練馬区, Nerima-ku) is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. The ward refers to itself as Nerima City.
In the Edo period, the area was mostly farmland producing daikon radishes, gobo burdocks, and potatoes. After the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake, many people from central Tokyo moved to the area.
Nerima-ku is known as a city old and new manga artists are living in. And also Nerima was the setting of a manga many times. For example, Doraemon, Ramma1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Touch, etc. If you like a japanese manga and anime, I recommend that you go to Oizumi gakuen in Nerima-ku. You can take a pic with anime characters statue.
