The delightful pathways at Nioza Historical Road in Oita Prefecture were carved directly out of ancient rock, formed by ancient hardened ash from the volcano Mt. Aso. They form the remnants of the old castle town, which has numerous temples and high-class samurai houses to explore🏯🚶
