2021年4月に行われたブラックマジックカメラ7.3アップデートで、URSA Mini Pro 12KやBMPCC6K Proで採用していた第5世代カラーサイエンスをBMPCC6Kと4Kでも使用できるようになりました。
第4世代カラーサイエンスよりも色再現性が良くなり、カラーグレーディング後もディテールがくっきりするようになったような気がします。
以前からDaVinci Resolveで第5世代のカラーサイエンスに変更してのカラコレは出来ていましたが、カメラ本体側が対応していると発色が全然違いますね。
今までとは違うカメラを扱っているような新鮮な気持ちにさせられます。
