
Once home to Oda Nobunaga, the first of Japan’s great samurai unifiers, Kiyosu Castle was one of the more historically significant castles in Japan’s Sengoku Period. 🏯 Nowadays you can take a step back into time and see displays of samurai armour, swords and ancient pottery at the reconstructed castle.
FUN FACT: Kiyosu Castle is a also a popular location for television period drama shoots and houses a collection of clothes worn by actors and actresses portraying key historical figures.
