In a primeval forest steeped in spirituality, you’ll find one of Japan’s tallest waterfalls, Nachi Falls. 💦⛩️ Perched in front is the striking three-story pagoda of Seigantoji Temple next to Kumano Nachi Taisha Grand Shrine.

📍Located in Wakayama Prefecture, the temple, shrine and falls are sacred stop-off points on the historic Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route. This ancient pilgrimage route traverses through the prefectures of Mie, Nara and Wakayama and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
