**TL:DR; Beginner at making curries looking for tips and suggestion.**

This was made using a medium hot curry roux brand that I can’t read the name of (the name was in Japanese). The condiments I use were apple, honey, chocolate, milk and ketchup.

A little backstory, all the curries I had before were Thai and Indian style. At the beginning of the year, my brother decided to order Coco Ichibanya curries for us, and my god, it was so delicious! Each bites is so jam-packed with flavor! Recently, however, we had been having problem ordering from them because of the delivery service rejecting the order since they were far away.

So, I decided to take order into my own hand, and well… the first two attempt were failure. The first one was just plain bad and the second I boiled the potatoes for two long and they broke down so much that the curries become potato soup. After that though, things got better. This one was the first one I think is pretty decent.

Now, since I don’t think I’m ready to make my own roux yet, I would appreciate any suggesting for curry roux brand (so far I’ve tried Vermont’s) or combination of them, uncommon condiment choices or just tips and feedback in general. Thank you guys in advance!
