Have you had a capsule hotel experience before? ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿจ Also known as pod hotels, these minimalist and quirky spaces are synonymous with Japan, having fast become a must-do experience for many travellers.

๐Ÿ“Located in most major cities across the country, each capsule usually contains a mattress, pillow, shelf space, plug socket, Wi-Fi and sometimes even a TV. Amenities such as toothbrushes and even pyjamas are also often provided. Prices for one night range between 3,000-6,000 yen (approx $38-76 AUD).

Note: most of Nine Hoursโ€™ pod hotels have been placed under temporary closure until 28 February due to the effects of the spread of COVID-19. ๐Ÿ›ธ Photo by @benrich__ #VisitJapanAU #Cities
