WOAH! To truly appreciate the scale of these cryptomeria trees, just take a look at the person walking beneath them! 😍🌲 This atmospheric and mystical forest path leads towards Togakushi-jinja Shrine in the dense mountainous region of Togakushi in northern Nagano.
📍To get here from Tokyo hop on the Hokuriku Shinkansen that runs directly from Tokyo to Nagano and takes between 80-100 minutes (and is covered by the JR Rail Pass). It’s then a 70-minute bus ride to Tagakushi.
