Today Sunny from South Korea visits “Hakata’s Kitchen”, or the Yanagibashi Rengo Market located in the Haruyoshi neighborhood of Fukuoka. The market boasts some 100 years of history and is a familiar favorite known and loved by the locals for generations. Unlike wholesale markets, the Yanagibashi Rengo Market also sells directly to individuals, so anyone can come and shop there whenever they like. In recent years the market has become one of the city’s popular tourist destinations and is visited by many travelers from abroad.
