Before checking out of my hotel at noon, I take a quick walk North to Ponta Verde to explore a sandbar which has emerged during low tide.
With only a few hours remaining, I decide to relax at my favorite beach spot while enjoying the scenery.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here and just like everywhere else, I wish I could have stayed longer. The beaches here were clean, safe and gentile. The vendors were not greatly aggressive and it was never too crowded. The nightlife was enough for me- certainly not too crazy, but maybe not enough excitement for others to enjoy. Restaurants were abundant and the local food choices varied and priced well.
My next adventure will take me about 35 kilometers down the coast to Barra do Sao Miguel for a few days there.
