Fastest High Speed Train 603 km/h by train is a new world record.
Good afternoon, dear friends, such results were achieved by the Japanese developers during the tests with the fastest series of high-speed train L0 Series.
Thanks to superconducting magnets in trolleys produced by Toshiba and Mitsubishi Electri, the Japanese maglev managed to accelerate to a mind-blowing 603 km / h and hold its top speed for 10 seconds.
Following commissioning, scheduled for 2027, JR Central plans to use the L0 series on the Chuo Shinkansen railway line under construction between Tokyo and Osaka, reaching speeds of up to 500 km / h and covering the section in 40 minutes.
The train itself consists of seven carriages, the bow extends 15 meters to improve aerodynamics and reduce noise in tunnels. Intermediate cars are 24.3 meters long and can seat 68 passengers, each row has four seats. The end car of the train is 28 meters long and can accommodate 24 passengers.
The wagons are more box-shaped, which allows for more interior space.
