JR Kumamoto Station （JR 熊本駅） is the main train station for Kumamoto City in the Kyushu Region. Kumamoto city is located further southwest of Fukuoka and is located halfway to Kagoshima city. This station is serviced by the new Sakura Bullet Train, which runs between JR Osaka Station and JR Kagoshima Station.
Kumamoto City is a nice clean city, known for it’s hot spring spas and mountain resorts.
