Pakistan Travel Chiniot City and Rabwah Road Trip 2020. I am traveling in Pakistan by rail and Road. In this video, Passing through the Chiniot City. Chiniot is located on the south bank of River Chenab in central Punjab. It is 275 Km from Islamabad and 163 Km from Lahore. It is connected with the rest of the country by road and rail. Chiniot was Tehsil of district Jhang and it was declared a separate district in February 2009. Historically, It was populated before Muslim invaders in the Indian Subcontinent. Chiniot city was established by Nawab Asad-Ullah Thaheem who was a resident of the area and finance minister of the Mughal Emperor Jahangeer. Jahangir Ruled Between 1605 and 1627 A.D. Hindus were living there before the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Now there are living Urdu speaking in large numbers who were migrated from India and settled here. District Chiniot’s population is about 1.4 million. its 40% population lives in urban areas while rest is living in the villages. On the north bank of river Chenab is a town Chenab Nagar. It is also called Rabwah. It is the headquarters of the Ahmadi Community. Ahmadis are the followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. Pakistan officially declared Ahmadis non-Muslims in 1974, as they don’t consider Prophet Muhammad PBUH to be the final Prophet.
