今の大将のおじいさまが、この地で1階はうなぎ屋、2階は水炊き屋をはじめたところから「鳥かつ楼」という名になったのだそうな。
今もその名を受け継ぎ、鳥料理も美味いという。
名物「江戸前どん」など気になる料理が並ぶ。
うな重はふっくらと蒸した鰻をしかり焼き、スッキリとした薄めのタレでいただく。
とても気持ちのいいお店。
