日本三大カルストのひとつ。
標高300〜700m、南北6km、東西2kmにわたり石灰岩が点在する景観は圧巻です。
地下には多くの鍾乳洞があり、中でも「千仏鍾乳洞」は長さ1,000m以上と言われ、入り口から900mまでは観光を楽しむことができます。

◆Hiraodai

Hiraodai is one of the three significant karsts in Japan.
The scenery where limestone is scattered over an altitude of 300 to 700 m, north and south 6 km, east and west 2 km is a masterpiece.
There are many limestone caves underground, and among them, the “Senbutsu limestone caves” are said to be over 1,000 m long. You can enjoy sightseeing from the entrance to 900 m.

◆関門海峡大橋（かんもんかいきょうおおはし Kanmon Bridge）

山口県下関市と北九州市門司区を結ぶ全長1,068m、海面からの高さ約61mの橋。
関門海峡の潮流は、速いときは時速18kmにもなるそうです。
夜間はライトアップされます。

The Kanmon Bridge is a bridge that connects Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi Prefecture and Moji Ward in Kitakyushu City with a total length of 1,068m and a height of about 61m above the sea level.
