The west side of Shinjuku is really interesting, with its mix of older residential areas and some of Tokyo’s most impressive Skyscraper views. In this video, I will take you along to some of my favourite spots in the area. Starting at Sangubashi Station, walking all the way to Shinjuku Station, via Tocho, Park Hyatt, Shinjuku Chuo Koen and several other famous landmarks in the area.

This video has Binaural Audio, Headphones are highly recommended for the best experience!

The video was recorded on June 6th, Narration recorded July 7th.

Corrections: I say Mayor in this video but it should be Governor.
The official name of what I refer to as “City Hall” is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

It’s still very quiet in Japan due to the current situation in the world. The number of tourists to this country is currently down by 99.9% (!). But when I shot this video, the emergency Status due to the ongoing situation had just been lifted.
