Portnahaven to Port Charlotte Scenic Route, Isle of Islay, Scotland

The quickest route between Portnahaven and Port Charlotte on Islay is represented by the A847, largely following the coastline of Loch Indaal. By taking the left hand fork leaving Portnahaven at the OK Corner, however, you can follow the single track road out to the West Coast of Islay at Kilchiaran Bay and see a very different side of the island’s beautiful scenery. The route will bring you back to the main road in the centre of Port Charlotte.
