Kyoto Arashiyama
Take Kyoto City bus NO11 from Kawaramachi Sanjo to Arashiyama. The cost is 230 yen, but if you buy a one day bus pass it is 600 yen. You can ride the Kyoto city bus all day inside Kyoto city.
I bought a bus and subway one day pass for 900 yen. Take the subway from Karasuma Oike station to Uzumasa Tenjingawa Sta. then take Kyoto City bus NO 11 or Kyoto bus NO 73. The No 73 bus departs from Kyoto Sta.
Kyoto during the coronavirus pandemic on April 6th. There were not many tourists walking around in Arashiyama compared to years past. Arashiyama is one of the most popular places to visit in Kyoto.
