We only had one day in Osaka, Japan during our last visit, but rather than do all of the main attractions you’ll find on a list of things to do in Osaka, there were only two activities we really wanted to do.

The first was visit the Osaka Castle, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan. We couldn’t actually do any filming in there, so please forgive the lack of footage from inside the castle, but trust us when we say it is worth doing.

The second thing we did was something that Jarryd was desperate to do – go-karting in Osaka! Imagine getting dressed up like video game characters, jumping in a super-fast go kart and racing around the streets of Osaka – it’s just as much fun as it sounds!

Note that while this isn’t real life MarioKart in Japan (Nintendo have nothing to do with this activity), it’s as close as you’ll ever get.

If you’re wondering what to do in Osaka in one day, and don’t want to check out Universal Studios or the Osaka Aquarium, then this one day in Osaka itinerary is for you!
