1 day in Osaka beyond the crowds: ramen, castle ruins & city views in Ikeda

Osaka is not just crowds and neon signs 🇯🇵
Join me for a day trip to Ikeda, 20 minutes by train from Osaka Station, to a quieter side of Osaka. We’ll make our own custom ramen at the Cup Noodle Museum, explore the peaceful Ikeda Castle Ruins Park, climb to the “Gate in the sky” for Osaka’s best sunset view spot, and finish the day with Ippudo ramen, because you can never have enough ramen 🍜.

  1. Thank you, Sunny! I’m here now for a few more weeks. This city is fantastic but I love exploring outside areas.
