2 Days In Nagoya Solo Trip – Gero Onsen & Magome-juku!
2 days in Nagoya – multiple places, different modes of transport, and a solo travel adventure!
So excited to share this incredible opportunity that Nicole had in Nagoya – her first time navigating a new part of Japan on her own, beginning the journey in New Chitose airport in Sapporo and starting the 2 day itinerary from Nagoya station.
In this video you’ll see the stunning views of the kiso valley by train, multiple stops en route with a rental car in the Kiso area, a stunning visit to Magome-juku postal town, with the night and following day spent at Gero Onsen. This weekend was so much fun to bring you along on – with plenty of challenges and food along the way!

15:52 Having lived in Hokkaido, you probably see vast plains all the time. However, about 70% of Japan is mountainous, so scenes like this actually represent the traditional, natural landscape of Japan.
So sorry about the audio being out of sync🙁, we have had quite a lot of issues with our hard drive whilst being on our road trip, but hope you can still enjoy it!
No all of that food is definitely for one person. Kaiseki is usually 12 or 15 courses – best part of staying at a ryokan.
