There are totally other—arguably better ribs in Tokyo. Freeman Shokudo, Big Iowa, Midtown BBQ, Toyoda, and Hatos come to mind.

Stopped at Slice of Life last week in Harajuku, no line but it was raining quite a bit at the time. My wife and I shared the beef ribs and brisket. Both were very good but the brisket in particular was amazing. We enjoyed all the sauces and we chatted with the staff for a while. Very friendly, highly recommend checking it out.

I was an hour late; for the price off that meat box, i could have gotten four kebabs–drinks included😅
Hatoya, although a bit expensive, is probably one of the best matchas I’ve had in Japan. 👌
I got a question, for that meat box do they specify how much meat there is in a sandwich? in grams I mean
I remember going to slice of life before the hype. There’s definitely a line haha
