布引高原は、「風の高原」と呼ばれています。この高原は、標高約1,000ｍあり、布引高原ダイコンの産地として有名で、磐梯山や猪苗代湖が一望できる絶景の地です。
そして、この高原には、高さ100ｍもある風力発電が33基立ち並び、高原の風を受けてゆっくり回っています。
