Japanese music and culture will take center stage this Saturday as Zipangu lands at the Rose Bowl in California. Presented by Goldenvoice and Cloud Nice, the one-day festival promises an immersive deep dive into modern Japan through music, food, fashion, manga, and community.

Unlike many festivals where fans are forced to sprint between stages, Zipangu is keeping things overlap-free. Every artist will have their own spotlight moment, giving attendees the chance to fully experience each performance without missing a beat.

Leading the charge is Ado, whose emotional vocals and theatrical presence have made her one of Japan’s breakout stars. Also on deck are ATARASHII GAKKO!, the boundary-pushing crew redefining what Japanese Pop performance can look like. Representing Hip Hop are CHANMINA and Yuki Chiba, while HANA, MAN WITH A MISSION, and 10-FEET round out a lineup built to showcase the diversity of Japan’s music scene.

Beyond the performances, Zipangu is aiming to recreate the atmosphere of Tokyo itself. The Rose Bowl Yokocho will transform part of the venue into a maze of alleyway-style bars and eateries inspired by Japan’s late-night food culture. Fans can also explore fashion, anime, manga, and other pillars of contemporary Japanese culture throughout the grounds.
