It's a shame that area gets so much negative attention in the popular media; the sensationalism of "homeless kids taking drugs in the street", "the 'sex' trade" and, as you mentioned, women and kids in the street being targeted for various horrible reasons, seems sometimes to overshadow the story of that area, and even seems to drive a certain kind of voyeuristic "tourism" as if of Tokyo's "freak show district".
There is probably a lot of sadness and desperation there, and I hope the young and vulnerable find their way to a better life, maybe with help.

As a longtime Godzilla fan, if I had the money to travel to Japan, I would definitely try everything I can to book this room.

I am sure that this will be a great video (your content is always very good), but the title of it is quite strange for me. Why call Kabukicho "Tokyos most dangerous area" ? I dont think its dangerous, and I am a woman and have been there several times (the last time just 45 days ago).
P.S. After seeing half of the video: dinner looks really tasty.
And the hotel room is very expensive. So thank you for spending so much money to make this video for us !

haha honestly when you told me a while back you'd be doing a Godzilla themed video I just had a feeling you'd go to this hotel. It'll be nice to sit back and simply enjoy your video in peace tonight and actually get to "experience" the room. I've watched a couple of American videos of them visiting the hotel and they are always loud and blabbing the whole time and they don't take their time to focus on the details. Thank you! 💪

Quite an out of this world price tag for a 1 night stay so thank you for showing it to us as a visual experience. 🙂 I really love the garden tour..that's one of my favorite experiences. What a beautiful and quiet getaway that would be from the hustle and bustle of the city. I could sit on a park bench there and be quite content.😌 The neat looking cafe with the delicious looking cabbage roll would definitely be right up my alley too.😋. Great video and surely a one of a kind hotel experience and I am glad you got to try it out.
I stayed at the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku my first time in Japan in December 2023, but the Godzilla Head terrace was closed at the time. Nice hotel room though, and Kabukicho was more or less what I expected of the area after the Yakuza series.
Did hear a lot of sex noises coming from my next door neighbor’s room the last night I stayed in the hotel though. Coming back after a pilgrimage to sites in Odaiba with bags full of merch, that was an unexpected surprise…
