I don't think you're meant to take the coupling cover off. It's designed to pop forward and you can adjust it and pull it back into the body like irl!
素晴らしい動画をありがとうございます。朱鷺カラーE4の良さがよく伝わってきて、到着がますます待ち遠しくなりました。実車には縁がなかったのですが、E4系に惹かれて鉄道模型を始めた身なので思い入れのある車両です。予約した物は今中国へ転送中で、手元に来るまでまだかなりかかりそうなのがもどかしいです。一点お聞きしたいのですが、今回の製品は以前のKATO製E4系と比べて動力やモーター音に変化はありますでしょうか。旧動力のほうが力強いという話もよく聞くので、そのあたり気になっております。

Your E4 Shinkansen Max is so beautiful, and KATO's stunning attention to detail in the construction of these models is amazing. The double-decker design and the livery colors are very appealing. The exceptionally smooth and silent motion of the Slotless Motor is perfect for adding great operational realism to Shinkansen model trains. The station departures and arrivals were very enjoyable to watch. I'm delighted that you have a beautiful collection of Shinkansen model trains at home, and the view of them laid out at 6:50 was impressive. The camera car views were great, especially at full speed.
