A new Pokémon exhibition has been revealed called “Pokemon x Kogei: Playful Encounters of Pokemon and Japanese Craft”. This is set to take place in Japan from April 26 to June 15, 2026, with tickets available starting January 2026. The exhibition will feature works from 20 Japanese craft artists, including some designated as “Living National Treasures” for their contributions to traditional crafts. Previously held at various venues, including Japan House Los Angeles, this iteration will showcase new pieces, such as Kasumi Ueba’s stone-carved Shaymin and Eiichi Shiroma’s silk kimono featuring Alolan Pokémon and Pikachu.
