Austin Metcalf and Yusei Omori
RISON – Kristy Strother and Austin Metclaf, with Rison Serenity Wellness Spa and RENEO Chiropractic, recently had a visitor making a stop in Rison along his journey to New York. “We had a young man named Yusei Omori, 27, from Tokyo, Japan come through Rison and ask to pitch his tent to rest here,” Strother said. “He felt so grateful when we offered him a place to stay, shower and even a chiropractic adjustment due to the back pain he was having just by walking.” Strother said she and Metcalf enjoyed visiting and getting to know him. He originally planned to travel from California to New York, but due to a minor injury to his back, it put him behind schedule two months therefore changing his plans to start in San Antonio, Texas. Omori plans to walk with his cart to New York City to watch the Soccer World Cup in August. His journey can be followed on instagram @dribble_samurai….
