This is any combini anywhere in Japan lol. I don’t get why people post regular pictures and think it’s something unique or special

  4. It’s very odd how I’ve been to this exact same place two years ago, and still remember it so well.

Pay attention to the road markings and just STOP

Why would you ruin the photo with a signature

Pretty sure I’ve seen this one in an anime before

  8. Con Winnie would make more sense. From “convenience store”.
Konbini is another Asian “f you that’s why” logic.

There’s a lot of negativity surrounding this photo, but if you approach it from a perspective of “why” and an openness to see, there is a sad beauty to it. For me it’s the time of day, the emptiness of people but the entire scene is human-made. Even the family mart lighting is fighting nature. The Japanese have made observing nature a beautiful, simple art, yet their industrialism has saturated this observation here. The signature helps to keep this photo the artist’s and doesn’t immediately become lost in the noise. The audience doesn’t even know where this is, at first. The stillness and sadness really made me pause and treat this as a lost moment in time. There is beauty here in safety and comfort but at the loss of something greater. My take, anyway. Cheers.

That squiggle really ruins your photos, they are not even that good to begin with
