I planted rice last Sunday. From 8AM to 5PM. I moved from Tokyo to Chiba to be a farmer ten years ago. I grow for the most part rice. I have a teacher. An elderly man in his 70s. This weekend I will be planting more rice. It is very hectic preparing the rice paddies and planting. Once I have planted I will have some more free time. Rice paddies are getting overgrown and farmers are getting old. I am trying to revive over grown rice paddies trying to reverse the trend. Chiba Prefecture is very beautiful. It looks like a fairy tale.
