NIIGATA in Japan and travel guide to HIYORIYAMAHAMA beach with the Sea of Japan, and SUICA, JP
NIIGATA is a beautiful city on the west coast of Japan that is washed by the Sea of Japan 🌊🌊🌊
I go for a walk from the PIER BANDAI fish market to HIYORIYAMAHAMA beach 💙💙💙
I cross the RYUTO BRIDGE over the SHINANO river that flows into the Sea of Japan🌊🌊🌊
This is how I like to get to know Japan and the Japanese city and its daily life and the housing of the local people 💛💛💛
NIIGATA has 800,000 inhabitants and I like to get to know these quiet streets and alleys that lead to HIYORIYAMAHAMA beach 💖💖💖
You can see a beautiful view of the Sea of Japan and the piers that are along the coast for fishermen from the Hiyoriyama Observation Platform 💙💙💙
I observe the beautiful waves, sandy beaches, birds, the surroundings because Japan is an island and waves are a symbol of Japanese culture 🌊🌊🌊
Back to the center and to NIIGATA station I take a bus and I enjoy the view from the window 🚌🚌🚌
On the bus, I use my charged Suica card, which I attach to the terminal on the bus when boarding and exiting, and yen is automatically deducted from my Suica 💛💛💛
You can also use Suica to pay for public transportation (trains, subways, buses) throughout the country, which makes traveling much easier for not only locals but also tourists who appreciate it 💝💝💝
And you can pay on JR lines but also on private carrier lines💝 💝💝
It is an ingenious Japanese payment system where you can use the Suica card in Japan at convenience stores when buying groceries, for example 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Lawson 🧡🧡🧡
You can also pay with it in drink vending machines, cafes, restaurants and for services such as lockers at train stations all over Japan 💛💛💛
It is a universal rechargeable card that replaces cash and coins for everyday payments 💚💚💚
Physical Suica cards are they buy at train stations in the Kanto area (Tokyo) where you can also return them 💚💚💚
I spent a lovely relaxing day at HIYORIYAMAHAMA beach🌊🌊🌊
