    please consider avoiding the rabbit hole that is vintage lenses and stick with 'new vintage' instead. you can only collect and use so many and the choices are endless – tyvm!

    I have become so lazy with settings over the years. I just leave my aperture on f6.3 and focus at about 2.5m if I don't have AF. I like that distance for 35mm in most scenarios, and then it is usually in focus almost to infinity. Then I just leave the shutter at 1/500 unless I really need to change it. Could some of my images have a slightly lower ISO? Probably, but I have wayyy less missed focus shots than I did before. And I think that's more important to me. Honestly if they made a camera with good enough ISO performance to shoot at night without changing these settings, I'd be on board very quickly.
