Gamers reveal what RPGs made them cry the most in a new Japanese survey

Have you ever cried from a videogame? Perhaps you shed a few tears or flat-out bawled, but either way you’re in good company. Plenty of people have cried from videogames, and now we have some insight into what made gamers in Japan weep the hardest.

Denfaminico Gamer held a survey with Japanese gamers to see which RPG in particular made them blubber above all others, and 4,700 respondents chimed in with their answers. The list is a who’s who of big-name RPGs, and there’s no doubt you’ve worked your way through at least some of these games. The real question is whether they made you sob uncontrollably or not!

Here are the top 10 games that made Japanese gamers lose it, according to the Denfaminico Gamer survey:
