The Strokes will launch a tour across North America in June 2026, followed by dates in Japan and Europe. The tour announcement comes on the heels of new music from the band, including a new album produced by Rick Rubin. This marks a significant event for fans, promising a comprehensive show across several continents.
Supporting The Strokes on their tour will be several acts, including Cage the Elephant, Thundercat, and Hamilton Leithauser. The European leg of the tour will feature Alex Cameron and Fat White Family as supporting acts. This wide range of supporting artists ensures a diverse musical experience for attendees.
The upcoming tour is in support of their forthcoming album, “Reality Awaits,” a follow-up to the 2020 release “The New Abnormal.” The band also released a single, “Going Shopping,” and performed at Coachella on Saturday night. This signals an active period for the band, with new music and performances planned for the coming months.

The tour will commence on July 17 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, and includes festival appearances at the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival, Outside Lands Music Festival, and Shaky Knees Music Festival. The tour will also visit Japan for Summer Sonic, before returning to the US, and finishing with an arena tour of Europe in October.
Specific US dates include performances at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado; the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon; and the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The band will also perform in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, as part of the Summer Sonic festival.
The European leg of the tour begins in London, England, October 6 at The O2, with stops planned for Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Dusseldorf, Germany; and Bologna, Italy. The tour will move to Barcelona, Spain, and Paris, France, before concluding in Newcastle and Manchester, England, and Dublin, Ireland, in late October.
