The Mikasa is also on my list, did you go aboard? Would you recommend it? I have visited Hikawa Maru and Nippon Maru in Yokohama before.
Also planning to ride a bike towards Hiroshima, Kure would be on the way. Depending how I much time I have, I want to go by the Maritime / Yamato museum as well.
I can also recommend the Kawaguchiko Motor and Aviation musuem, they have two Zero very well restored and also a Hayabusa. It’s only open in August though.
