The deluxe Japanese cabin looks so comfortable and such great views. And the buffet looks good too! Obviously a very popular sightseeing route. Would so like to travel this way.

The ship is lovely. That tatami room looks cozy. The food looks not bad, either. Glad you were able to catch a quick breakfast of a hearty plate of curry before your next adventure. So excited to see your train video!! Japan's sightseeing trains are so delightfully cute!

Usually these things seem deserted but now it looks like you're at Disneyland what with the crowds.
Seeing what you eat is my favorite part of every video. It amazes me how much you eat..I can tell by your feet that you are NOT fat!
It's too early for Golden Week. Are the kids on holiday for Cherry Blossom Sakura. Time for hanami!! Fun times, the start of picnic season. One I went to was a combination of a restaurant and owner of a few bars for their employees. I was a guest of honor, the only gaijin. They wouldn't allow me to do anything to help. My hand was always occupied with a beer, homemade Sakai or homemade Shลchลซ. I HAD to sing Karaoke with their garage band. A few of the staff and I went for toke walks. Needless to say, after 6 hours I was spent. Japanese people work very hard but know how to enjoy their free time.
Getting full? I'm surprised that you didn't explode!! There's an Izakaya near Hiroshima that I would frequent. I'd spend hours there eating a variety of small serving plates. And have a few Dai Nama Beeru.
I have slept on a futon a few times. Once for the cultural experience in a traditional Rokan hotel. Another at a friend's and once at an overnight year end office party. All 3 times western toilets were available!
Curry! Again? You're supposed to be showcasing Japanese culture, not Indian.
